Seattle Space Needle

Last week, we had some friends from out of town. On their last night here, we decided to go up in the Seattle Space Needle. $16.00 each ticket, you go up in a little glass front elevator, 520 feet above the ground, and see Seattle. It's gorgeous. After about an hour, we decided to leave. We got in the elevator, a total of 16 people, and started to go down. At about 300 feet, the elevator died. We were stuck for an hour. Did I mention that one of my fears is being stuck on an elevator?
The elevator operator was very kind, and when we finally were released, we got our ticket refunded, gift certificates for the gift shop, and free photos.
I recommend the trip.
